The Book of Real Beauty for LDS Girls
Description
This product is designed for Latter, day Saint girls who are
nine to twelve years of age. In this book, novelist Tarrah
Montgomery teaches girls to be themselves, find a style of their
own, and stay healthy with proper nutrition, exercise, and sleep.
Girls will learn that modesty is always in style, and theyll
practice doing simple hairstyles and makeup. As girls find joy
in everyday life, they will see how beauty shines from kindness
and giving service. Following the Spirit brings inner beauty,
confidence, and feelings of self, worth. This guide will help girls
look and feel their best as they prepare for their teenage years.
Tarrah Montgomery and her mother Susan Chadaz have
always dreamed about joining their talents to write and illustrate
a book. Both Susan and Tarrah graduated from Utah State
University in education and have enjoyed teaching in the public
school system. Tarrah, who lives in Arizona, is the author of a
series of teen fairytale romances called The Princess Chronicles.
Susan lives in Utah and has taught art for the past twenty years.
She sells her art pieces, called Rusty Apple Art, at festivals
throughout Utah, Idaho, and Arizona. When not writing and
illustrating, Tarrah and Susan enjoy girls trips together with the
other sisters, family reunions with the whole family, staying up
way too late at night talking, and just being together. The Book
of Real Beauty for LDS Girls is their first project together.
