Description

Jason Martin arrives in the Democratic Republic of the Congo as a missionary and is assigned to build an orphanage with a former Congolese revolutionary named Gabriel Ngandu. As they work together to become true companions and overcome tragic events in their pasts, Elder Martin opens his heart to a beautiful nation and people on the brink of magnificent possibilities.

Heart of Africa 2: Companions tells the same story as Heart of Africa but from a different point of view. Unlike the first film, which focuses on Elder Ngandu, Companions focuses on Elder Martin. This new film introduces new characters and events, culminating in a climactic moment that reveals the power of Jesus Christ to change hearts and lives. It demonstrates powerfully the wholeness and compassion that can come through viewing the world through another person’s eyes.
