A book of four novellas by talented mystery/suspense/thriller writers is a book I couldn't pass up. I was already a fan of three of the authors (Abramson, Poulson, and Black) and now I'm a Gregg Luke fan. BRIDGE OF TRUST by Traci Hunter Abramson--a mother trying to get her son back from the boy's criminal father, her ex-husband. While Summer heals from injuries sustained while trying to keep her older son from being kidnapped, FBI agent Ethan Flanagan tracks down leads on the missing boy. As usual Traci Abramson kept me awake reading so I could see how this exciting story ends. CORRUPTED by Clair Poulson--a mother's daughter is missing and she has to convince the police that the girl's been kidnapped, not runaway from home. Police Lieutenant Jay Tanstall is asked to investigate some of his fellow officers and discovers some might not be on the straight and narrow. This story was interested because the readers know the truth of what's happening but not who's behind it until almost the end. INSIDIOUS by Gregg Luke--Andrew is a pole vaulter headed to the Olympics until his body suddenly betrays him and he ends up in the hospital clinging to life. Nothing the doctors do really helps and they can't figure out the cause. This story was scary especially when you find out what the diagnosis is and the cause. I loved that Andrew's wife, Taryn is a pharmacist and didn't let the main doctor treating her husband talk down to her. She knew her stuff and stood up to him. SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL FOR SOMETHING EVIL by Stephanie Black--Kate and Colby are newlywed's and live in a small town. Kate is an artist and takes a part-time job at The Treasure Chest, a store in town. I kept wondering when Kate was going to figure out that things weren't adding up. I thought I knew who the bad guy was but not the motive. It was really twisted. Another great suspense/thriller from Stephanie Black. I really liked all of these stories. They grabbed me in and wouldn't let go until I had finished them. I like novels over novellas but with a novella you can read it in an afternoon when you got some spare time or the kids are napping. I also loved the cover and how ingenious it is with the authors names going down while the title goes across. Thank you Covenant Communications via NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book. All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.

In her suspense novel, Fatal Memories, Tanya Stowe has written an exciting and engaging story that readers will enjoy. This story is a fun and quick read. From the turn of the first page, readers will be wondering what will happen next in this action packed novel. Part way through the story, it is slightly confusing though because it seems as if the story is coming to an end and then all of a sudden there is another plot twist and it picks back up again. Readers will come to know the characters, as well as be on the edge of their seats with the twists and turns of the tale. Readers who enjoy these easy reads from Love Inspired will definitely want to pick this one up. What happens when you bring together four of today's best mystery suspense writers? You get a book of captivating novellas that you can't put down. I have read many books by these four authors and knew that I would be reading some terrific stories. Each one was different but equally thrilling. Even with them being shorter lengths than I'm used to reading by each of them, I was still totally taken in by the plots and intriguing characters in sometimes perilous situations. The plots range from kidnappings, murders, a medical mystery, and a new bride swept up in a web full of lies. I truly like having books with novellas to read when my life is super busy. I could come home each night and read one of them even though I was so tired. My first thought when I finished Entangled was I hoped that these four writers will pen another incredible book together. They know how to write thrilling stories that will bring readers back begging for more! Well done Traci Hunter Abramson, Clair M. Poulson, Gregg Luke, and Stephanie Black. Entangled will snare readers from the first to the last page.

I have read books by all four of these authors so I was THRILLED to get this book! It was amazing-I absolutely loved it! Each novella (short story) is about 16 chapters long and just long enough to get me hooked with the story line and characters and to feel satisfied with the plot. Each novella is completely different with the characters and plot, and they all had lots of suspense and drama. Clean fiction-no bad language or graphic violence. Lots of twists and turns, on the edge of my seat suspense. Each story was unique and I truly liked them equally in their own way. Kidnapping, police corruption, medical suspense, a killer on the loose...you won't want to stop reading! I highly recommend this book, especially if you have read other books by any of these authors! I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

I love suspense and was excited to hear that four of my favorite authors were collaborating on this book! I am glad that it didn't disappoint. I love full-length novels since I get a better feel for the characters, but I also love novellas because the stories move along quickly so they really hold my attention. I also love that I can read a story in one sitting, and have another one to look forward to the next time I sit down. I wanted to keep reading these, but also wanted the book to last. I enjoyed how different each of these stories were. Even though they were novellas, I was invested in the characters and enjoyed getting to know them. There were twists and turns and surprises as well. This is a book I will definitely read again. Whether or not you are familiar with these authors, if you enjoy suspense, this is a book you will definitely want to read! I received a complimentary copy from the publisher, which did not affect my review in any way.

One of the things I love about novellas is how quickly they can be read. They get to the heart of the plot quickly and they move rapidly all the way through. The problem that can happen with a collection like this though is that you may not like all the stories equally. I am pleased to say though that that didn't happen here, at least not for me. I enjoyed all four stories and they were all intriguing and very different. One story revolves around a woman who is trying to get her oldest son back from her drug dealing ex-husband, who also seems to want her dead. But with the help of a kind FBI agent, she hopes to see Henry again. The second story revolves around a woman whose daughter is kidnapped and her detective boyfriend must help her find the girl. The problem is that corrupt cops seem to be involved. The third story is a medical mystery with Taryn working with the doctors to try to figure out what is wrong with her husband. And the fourth story revolves around a woman, her shop, antagonistic neighbors, and a murder. Each story is well-written and pulled me in completely despite how short each story was. I will admit that one story broke my heart a bit, but life, even in stories doesn't always have a happy ending. I would recommend that you read these when you have some time because the book is hard to put down. A well-done collection of stories perfect for those who enjoy a good suspense.

I was given an advanced reader copy of this book that is due to be released in September 2019.  The following is my honest opinion of the book. Bridge of Trust by Traci Hunter Abramson was a great read.  I loved how it connected to already loved character of Charlie Whitmore from some of her other books, but the story itself was suspenseful.  I just wished that I got to read more of Ethan and Summer’s story.  You only get so much in a novella. Corrupted by Clair M. Poulson was a pretty good read as well.  It definitely had me on the edge of my seat, and the ending was not quite how I thought it would play out. Insidious by Gregg Luke is a mystery for sure, but not a murder mystery.  This is about a medical mystery.  I found it very unique when it comes to mysteries, but the ending did bring tears to my eyes.  It’s one of those bittersweet endings that makes you appreciate all the hard work that doctors go through to help solve a medial mystery. Something Beautiful for Something Evil by Stephanie Black is definitely a mystery that Stephanie would come up with.  I must admit that I didn’t like the ending.  I didn’t like to find out who the culprit was, but I must also admit that it makes for a great mystery. All in all despite them being novellas and not getting to know the characters as well as you do in full-length novels, they all turned out excellent that got me entangled with their mysteries and needing to know what happens.  This book makes for a great quick reads here and there when you only have so much time to invest in a novel. You can read a story and then set it down to get something else done, then you can read the next story and so forth. It you like mysteries and suspense, then this is a book for you.

Reading Entangled was a fantastic and thrilling read. Each novella was different and unique but full of action and suspense that kept me reading. I loved that each story was long enough to be a full story but short enough to read when I didn't have a lot of time. Bridge of Trust by Abramson pulled me into the fast and furious world of the FBI and drug bosses. It is a must read. Corrupted by Poulson made me rethink everything I thought about safety and kept me on my toes about who would live and who would die. Insidious by Luke was one big mystery and since I don't want to spoil it, just go read it! Something Beautiful for Something Evil was a complete whodunnit, it kept me trying to sleuth until the end. If you love action/suspense, thrills and mystery, then you will love this collection of novellas, Entangled! I received a copy of this book for free, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

The first thing that I noticed from this collection of novellas is the creativity in the cover. The author's names running down the title all spaced with one letter in between. That is so creative and impressive. The geeky OCD side of me loved it. This book is a collection of four suspense novellas. All are written by author's that I have previously read and enjoyed. It was easy for me to get into this book. Not all of them have a "happily-ever-after". I was OK with that though. The story was interesting and life doesn't always turn out the way that we hope it will. I was swept away by the first story. A young mother's son was kidnapped by her ex-husband's criminal network. With the help of FBI agent Ethan Flanagan, they work to bring her son home and stop her husband from bothering her again. This was my favorite story of the four. The second book deals with police corruption and girls being kidnapped and sold. As a mother, it is terrifying and I was right there with the families hoping to get their daughter's back before it is too late. Gregg Luke's knowledge of disease is terrifying. I am saying this in a good way. I love to read his books because they are interesting and full of information. He knows how to teach and entertain at the same time. The last book was also a favorite of mine. Kate is gullible. She has information that is at odds with each other and has to try to figure out who to trust before it is too late. She has to piece information together to come to a terrifying truth. I would say that all of the stories are well done. This book is 372 pages long and it only took me a couple of days to read it. It is a clean book with a lot of suspense and a tiny bit of romance. There is also non-graphic violence.

Entangled is one suspense story after another with several strong heroines in each story. The book starts out with Bridge of Trust. Traci Hunter Abramson's story of a woman on the run from her ex husband who's a crime boss, she will do everything to protect her sons from the life he has planned for them. In Corrupted, Clair M. Poulson tells a thrilling tale of abduction and corruption within the police force and a parent's desire to do anything to get their child back. It's one story you have to finish in one sitting and not read before bed or it will keep you up all night thinking about it. At least it did for me. Gregg Luke's story Insidious is one that puts your stomach in knots as you read and hope for a happy ending. It's about a strange illness and the wife who is her husband's greatest advocate with his health care. Stephanie Black's Something Beautiful For Something Evil is a great story that leaves you wondering who to trust. With two strong females in this story you root for the truth to win before something deadly happens. This book was a fun read and I enjoyed each story. Suspense novels aren't my go to genera but I would read this book again . I was given the chance to pre-read this novel for Covenant Communications all opinions are my own.

This is a good book! I usually don’t care much for a book of Novellas as they seem too rushed to do the stories justice but I have to say this one wasn’t that way. Four stories by Tracie Hunter Abramson, Clair M. Poulson, Gregg Luke and Stephanie Black. I believe the 1st one was my favorite although they were all great. Bridge of Trust is very suspenseful and will keep you tense waiting to see what happens. There is a romantic ending as well. Also I liked the location of Arizona since I live here so I was familiar with all the places in the book. In Corrupted you will be taken into a human trafficking story where young girls are kidnapped to be sold. It is hard to keep from giving away spoilers on this one so I won’t say more except that it was a very good story. Insidious is a sad but very enlightening story of Medical Suspense. Andrew Miner has contracted a debilitating disease that has the doctors stumped. His wife Taryn, a pharmacist, goes on a search to identify the disease. This will keep you enthralled right up to the surprise ending. Someone is using Something Beautiful For Something Evil. It seems there is a killer of young women on the loose and maybe Jamie could be the next victim. This is a good fast paced novella that suspense readers will enjoy. All in all this is a great book. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.
