I enjoyed this one from beginning to end as a teenager, but now that I'm older, the story kind of loses its muster of "flight" from the unwanted suitor. The story overall was masterly done and the romance wasn't as fast paced as most books were when this book came out. It was unexpected, but it was nice to see a new perspective on how romance actually goes in this time period the book is fictionally set in. There is a Pre-quel for the love interest out there (not in this book, sorry), but I liked the ending of this one and how things seemed to just take it's course wherever the heart blew with the wind.

I am a mom and a teacher and there is a huge population of teens who love romance. This is a great book for those who do. It is clean and charming. The characters have depth and realism and thier story is fully adorable. The story also contains action and mystery and suspense. It is a regency romance set in the 1800s in England but faster paced and with easier language than Jane Austin. I highly recommend it.
