Q. I am interested in working at Seagull Book, how do I apply?

A. View our job listings by clicking here. Return your completed applcation in at the Seagull Book where you wish to apply.


Q. How can I get assistance placing an order?

A. We are happy to help! Please call 1-800-999-6257.


Q.I have a question about an order I placed by phone, what number should I call?

A.For phone orders placed with our phone center, please call 1-800-999-6257. If you placed a order with one of our store locations by calling them directly, you will need to call the store you placed the order with.


Q.It’s not letting me add an item to my cart or I don’t see the size I want in the drop down?

A.This happens sometimes when an item or size is sold out. Please feel free to call 1-800-999-6257 or email us at [email protected]. We would be happy to check the availbility of an item. When e-mailing please be sure to include the product name, SKU # and size (if applicable).


Q. Can I return my online order to a Seagull Book store?

A. Yes. All of our stores will accept returns of online orders as long as they meet the standards detailed in our return policy. Please make sure to print out a copy of your email receipt and bring it with you when making a return to a store. If you no longer have this information, you can receive a new email receipt by contacting the internet staff.


Q.I am having issues with my order timing out at check-out, how do I fix this?

A.Please make sure to check the "I am Not a Robot" after putting in your address. This will make it so that it will not time out as quickly.


Q. Why am I not getting free shipping?

A. Some items such as framed art, special order rings or special order recommend holders are not eligible for free shipping. If your order contains a mix of these items and items which do qualify for free shipping, you will be charged an estimated shipping amount which may be adjusted or it may only allow store pick up options. Please contact us if you have any questions.


Q.Why is store pickup the only option I am seeing?

A.Larger framed art and/or large décor cannot be shipped with other items because they need the Framed Art Shipping. It will only give that all items in the order qualify, this is or often store pick up. We recommend ordering framed art or large home décor in a separate order.


Q. Can I use my Seagull gift card online?

A. Unfortunately, physical gift cards can only be redeemed in a Seagull store, or by phone order. For phone orders, please call 1-800-999-6257.


Q. How do I use my electronic gift certificate?

A. To add your online gift certificate to your account, login to your online Seagull Book account. Click go into “My Account” and then in “Customer Credit” enter the code as it is on your gift certificate and click to apply to account. When you are ready to purchase select “use credit” in the checkout process.


Q. Does Seagull Book sell e-Books?

A. We do not currently offer e-books.


Q. Do you have a coupon or promo code?

A. Seagull Book provides coupons from time to time through the mail, online, email, social media, and retail stores. Although specific details are provided on each coupon, the follow applies to all coupons:

  • Coupons are designed for one-time use.
  • Coupons used in store will be surrendered to the cashier.
  • When a coupon is used online, it should be discarded after use.
  • Attempts to use coupons multiple times online will not be honored.
  • Some items may be excluded such as: Church Distribution produced items, custom framed art, or gift cards.
  • Coupons can not be used on a prior purchase.
  • Not redeemable for cash.
  • Coupons cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.

Q. Do you match your competitor's offers?

A. Yes, we do match most prices and promotions offered by Deseret Book. Please send a link, photo or screen shot of the offer you wish us to match to [email protected]. Please be sure to include as much information as possible.


Q. I have a product that I want to submit. Where do I send it?

A. Seagull Book is not currently accepting submissions. If you would like Seagull Book to consider acquiring your product for sale in our locations; please obtain the services of a distributor. A distributor’s acceptance of product does not constitute an agreement that Seagull Book will carry your product. A few distributors we work with are:

Q. I have a manuscript that I want to submit. Where do I send it?

A. Seagull Book is not a publisher. For publishing consideration, you will need to a publisher such as Covenant Communications or Deseret Book Publishing.

Q. Does Seagull Book offer wholesale discounts?

A. Seagull Book is a business to customer retailer, and does not offer wholesale discounts.


Q. Do you engrave the names on scriptures?

A. Unfortunately we do not have the equipment to engrave names on scriptures or other products.


Q. Can I special order scriptures in different languages or colors?

A. Unforunately we cannot order specialized scriptures in other colors or languages. You may find additional languages at the church distribution center.
